My name is Tyler. I'm a new volunteer here at IPI. I discovered IPI a while back and have been following the growth of the charity for a while now. I decided it was time to get my hands dirty and help the best that I can.
Here’s a little about me: I’m from Michigan, I moved to Vegas a little over 4 years ago. I was going to school for graphic design and realized that it wasn't for me. Since then, I have just been working and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I have been doing the paces of the Vegas life since I moved here and thought it was time for a change and to try to do something positive for myself and for others.
Since moving out to Vegas, I have realized how much HIV affects people and their families. Where I grew up HIV wasn't a well-known or talked about topic. After finding out about friends and family that have contracted HIV (and what they have gone through) I noticed the issue of people not having the awareness of HIV. So getting the word out and helping with the efforts of IPI seemed like the right step for me.
